Fundraising activites

"Book and a Buck"

Would you like to participate in a very easy  and fun fundraising event to benefit the Malagays People's Library. A "Book and a Buck" fundraiser is a very simple fundraiser that anyone can hold on a large or small scale. Simply work with your child's school, civic groups, religious community, clubs, or even your neighborhood to collect one book and one dollar.

The premise is simple. We need you to organize a drive to collect a book for the library and a dollar to build a home for that book. Please contact me at cbronkar@muskingum.edu for more details of how you can hold a "Book and a Buck" drive.

"Malagasy Art Fair/Auction

This fundraiser is a great way for schools to integrate art and education. The school integrates educational information about Madagascar's people, wildlife, art and music in the their student's curriculum. The students are then encouraged to use their knowledge of Madgascar to create artwork, stories, plays or whatever their imagination holds to relate what they have learned about the wildlife and culture of Madagascar.
